Here you will find out everything you need to know about our 2nd Annual “Coming Back Together: A Taste of Black ‘Cuse”! Please come back to this page as we will update with answers periodically.
What is “Coming Back Together: A Taste of ‘Black ‘Cuse?” In 2019, Black-Owned Syracuse hosted Syracuse’s first ever and still only 3-day food festival celebrating Black food entrepreneurs. The event hosted more than 500 guests. We hosted food vendors and nonfood vendors who all hit their sales goals. Due to Covid, we haven’t been able to host the last few years. But, we are back!
When will the food festival take place? Our 3-day food festival “Coming Back Together: A Taste of Black ‘Cuse” will take place from August 11-13, 2023. It will be the last event of Black Joy Week.
What is Black Joy Week? Black Joy Week is a week of celebrating our joy, our resistance, our culture, our love, our ancestors,…our lives. If you are a Black business owner, community member, or leader of a Black-led organization and would like to join our “Black Joy” team email us at BlackJoySYR@gmail.com.
